Bessie (Betty) Foster, resident of Bocabec, New Brunswick, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on April 4, 2018 at Charlotte County Hospital due to complications from Alzheimer’s.
Born on September 2, 1933 in Nerepis, NB, Betty is predeceased by her parents, James and Nellie (Oak) Cochrane, three brothers, Doug, Russell, and Jimmy, and four sisters, Kathleen, Dorothy, Marion, and Edna.
Betty is survived and will be dearly missed by her husband of 64 years, Merlin Foster; their three children, Dennis Foster (Sandra) of Bocabec, NB, David Foster (Margaret) of Waweig, NB, and Barbara Harvey (Roy) of Calgary, AB; two brothers, Robert Greer (Donna) of Saint John, NB and Wayne Greer (Sheila) of Westfield, NB; five grandchildren, Cindy Kohler (Adam), Matthew Foster (Jennifer), Michael Harvey (Janelle), Joy Reynolds (Eric), and Paul Harvey (Kara), as well as three great-grandchildren, Lukas Kohler, Dylan Foster, and Adalee Harvey, in addition to her many nieces and nephews.
A private service for family will be held at a later date at Bocabec Cemetery.
