The naming process is continuing for various conference rooms and other areas of the Garcelon Civic Center.
Monday, Mayor John Quartermain issued a press release announcing those who wish to use the Sunlife walking/jogging track at the civic centre can do so free of charge.
The press release also announced the arena at the civic centre will be called the Quartermain Arena.
In an interview, the mayor clarified the arena was not being named after him.
He said his cousin, Robert Quartermain of Vancouver, made a sizeable donation to the civic centre project and secured the naming rights of the arena.
Robert is the son of Allan and Elizabeth Quartermain and grew up in St. Stephen, said the mayor.
Im pleased he made the contribution that helped make the civic centre a reality, said the mayor.
