ST. STEPHEN – They started out laughing.
Phil and Barbara Herron moved to Charlotte County from Toronto 11 yearsago to enjoy their retirement, but that dream soured after Phil’s health problems left him lying in bed at home.
It was a major undertaking, and one Barbara was not prepared to handle
alone.
The couple was introduced to the New Brunswick Extra-Mural Program (EMP) and nurse Vonda Read arrived at their home.
