Residents can expect an announcement in the very near future of a major downtown waterfront development.
Tom McFarlane of St. Stephen, owner of Spurline Properties Inc., confirmed his company has signed an option for the future development of a two-and-a-half acre property comprised of land currently occupied by the business offices of Home Support Services and several surrounding pieces of property.
McFarlane said he intends to make an announcement on the development very early in the new year.
The area slated for development is adjacent to St. Stephen’s Garcelon Civic Center now under construction and is expected to be completed by the fall of 2013
