Highways open, but not advised for travel

Charlotte County – Although most highways in the region have been reopened, they are still only recommended for travel in emergency situations.  In the wake of the snow and ice of yesterday’s weather system, much of Charlotte County is delayed in it’s start this morning. As seen on the map, most main roads in the area are officially open, but remain under a travel warning.

All schools in the Anglophone South School District are also closed today.

The weather for the week looks to remain unsettled, with The Weather Network showing temperatures rising to nine degrees on Thursday, with 35-45 mm of rain predicted.
