It is with deep sadness that his family announce his unexpected passing on Monday, July 10th, 2017; Joseph Michael Howlett “Joe”; husband of Darlene (Brown) Howlett, of Campobello, NB.
Born in Lunenburg, NS; he is the son of the late Jim & June (Slaunwhite) Howlett.
A longtime resident of the island Joe worked worked as a commercial fisherman with a passion for the sea.
Surviving in addition to his wife Darlene is his son Chad, grandchild Mason, son Tyler, Haylee and Rylan, Sister Kathy Brown (John) brother Richard (Lori) all of Campobello, nieces, nephews, Treigh, Jarvis, Christopher, Chase, mother and father-in-law Brenda and Manley Brown.
Resting at Wilsons Beach United Baptist Church from where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in Joe’s memory can be made to the Church Fund, Edith Lank Camp or to just give a random act of kindness to someone else.
