J.R.R. Tolkien’s “The Hobbit” is coming to SSHS Dec. 17 and 18

Photo submitted On Sunday and Monday at St. Stephen High School, Neil Grant's Theatre Arts 12-0 class will be performing The Hobbit. Tickets are $5, and show times for both nights is 7 p.m.

St. Stephen – J.R.R. Tolkien fans rejoice – The Hobbit is coming to St. Stephen High School.
Neil Grant’s Theatre Arts 12-0 class will be taking to the stage to perform the play, based on Tolkien’s book, and adapted by Kim Selody, and produced with permission from the Saul Zaentz Corporation.

In the role of Bilbo Baggins will be Jordan Conception, while Gandalf will be played by Samuel Poirier. Keegan MacIvor will transform into Thorin, Keila Barry into Bombur, Haley McGaw as Balin, and Old Took will be played by Megan Haley.

Show times will be Sunday and Monday, with curtain raising for 7 p.m. Tickets are $5, and are available at the SSHS main office, from the cast, and at the door.
