At the Charlotte County Hospital on Saturday, May 5, 2018, Robert Dale Malloch, husband of Margo (Brown) Malloch of Wilson’s Beach, NB. Born in Lubec, ME, U.S.A., he is the son of the late Whitman and Isabelle (Henderson) Malloch.
For many years Rob worked with Welch’s Fish Factory. Later on he worked lobster fishing. He had many passions and hobbies in life that took him through many experiences on his journey. High on his priority list would take him to the golf course perhaps five or more days a week. He could be seen on the course once in a while as the course marshall. He also loved to play crib, darts and hockey. Rob dedicated his last 18 summers to caring for work in the Wlison’s Beach Cemeteries and managed to find time to deliver the mail to Campobello residents.
Surviving in addition to his wife Margo are his two sons, Steven Dyndiuk (Holly) of Mariahville, ME, his three grandchildren, Samuel, Eden and Noah, and his son Christian Dyndiuk of Freeport, ME; his three brothers and sister, Dennis, Wendy Smart (Chris), Ross and Kennard (Patsy), all of Campobello, NB; his father- and mother-in-law, William “Billy” and Jessie Brown; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Rob was predeceased by his brother Doug.
By Rob’s request, there will be no visitation; however, friends will be welcomed to attend a graveside memorial service in celebration of his life on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 12 noon at Wilson’s Beach Community Cemetery, Head Harbour Road.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of the donors’ choice would be appreciated by the family.
