Saint Andrews – Smiles were not in short supply Sunday at the W.C. O’Neill Arena Complex as the St. Croix Blades Speed Skating Club hosted its closing of the season FunDay competition which was followed by a breakfast banquet.

Club members took to the ice for fun races, some of which included racing around the track pushing fellow members on buckets.

Tonight (Friday) at practice, the club will host Jamie Macdonald, a 23-year-old Canadian short track speed skater who recently competed in the PyeongChang Winter Olympics.
