Tournaments in Charlotte County this weekend

Charlotte County – Not sure if there are any tournaments in the area this weekend? We’ve got you covered.

Catch some minor hockey action in Blacks Harbour and Saint Andrews – the Charlotte County Minor Hockey Association is hosting the Annual Andrew Bartlett Memorial tournament, to begin today (Thursday) and conclude Sunday. Games will take place at the Patrick Connors Recreational Complex in Blacks Harbour, and the W.C. O’Neill Area Complex in Saint Andrews.

28th Annual Rotary Invitational Tournament

On Friday and Saturday, the St. Stephen Spartans varsity girls basketball team is hosting the 28th Annual Rotary Invitational Tournament at the St. Stephen High School.

Along with the Spartans, Harvey, Calais, Grand Manan, and Simonds will compete in the tournament.


1:45 p.m. – Grand Manan vs. St. Stephen

3:30 p.m. – Simonds   vs. Harvey

5:15 p.m. – Calais vs. Grand Manan

7 p.m. – St. Stephen vs. Simonds

8:45 p.m. – Harvey vs. Calais


9 a.m. – Grand Manan vs. Simonds

10:45 a.m. – St. Stephen vs. Harvey

12:30 p.m. – Simonds vs. Calais

2:15 p.m. – Harvey vs. Grand Manan

4 p.m. – Calais vs. St. Stephen

Fundy JV Boys Basketball tournament

Beginning on Friday, the Fundy Mariners junior varsity boys basketball team is hosting a five team round robin tournament at Fundy Middle and High School.

Along with the Mariners, other teams participating are Rothesay High School, St. Malachy’s, Sussex High School, and Simonds High School.



2:30 p.m. – Mariners vs. RHS

4:15 p.m. – Simonds vs. Saint Malachy’s

6 p.m. – Sussex vs. RHS

7:45 p.m. – Mariners vs. Simonds


8 a.m. – Mariners vs. St. Malachy’s

9:45 a.m. – Sussex vs. Simonds

11:30 a.m. – RHS vs. St. Malachy’s

1:15 p.m. – Mariners vs. Sussex

3 p.m. – Simonds vs. RHS

4:45 p.m. – Sussex vs. St. Malachy’s
