ALEXANDER, Leo R. – Passed away peacefully at Lincourt Manor in St. Stephen, NB on Saturday, May 29, 2021, Leo Robert Alexander, husband of Geraldine (Omar) Alexander of Pomeroy Ridge, NB. Born in St. Stephen, he is the son of the late Frank and Madeline (Goodine) Alexander and foster son of the late Henry and Ruth (Anderson) Matheson.

  Leo was a hard-working man since he was 15 years old, working as a logger. Working in the logging industry was his life’s passion. He also thoroughly loved being outdoors to enjoy hunting.

  Surviving, in addition to his wife Geraldine, are his three sons, Anthony (Tony) Alexander of Black’s Harbour, NB, Wade (Stacey) of Moncton, NB, Brad of Harvey; three grandchildren, Krey of Moncton, Brayden of Lawrence Station, and Maisie of  Harvey; one  brother, Francis of Oak Hill; one sister, Phyllis Bartlett of St. Stephen; several nieces and nephews.

  Leo was predeceased by one brother Gene and one sister Mary.

  Cremation has taken place. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home on Saturday, July 10 from 12 – 2 p.m., at Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen, NB, E3L 2B2 (506-466-3110). A graveside service will follow in Pomeroy Ridge Cemetery at 3 p.m. Due to circumstances surrounding the pandemic, prescreening protocols will be in place.

  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimers Society, Charlotte County Cancer Society or charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences to the family or donations can be made at
