All Service New Brunswick Centres reopen by July 13, eligible licenses extended

New Brunswick – All Service New Brunswick Centres will reopen by July 13, eligible provincial licenses and certain other documentation will be extended.

Service New Brunswick (SNB) announced all 33 of its service centres will be opened by July 13. However, the public is reminded that most services can be accessed online or through Tele-Services at 1-888-762-8600. SNB is investigating ways to offer more high demand services online like the written drivers test and change of address.

SNB Minister Sherry Wilson said she was glad to see SNB centres re-opening, but was also pleased residents are embracing the online transaction options. She said the plan moving forward is to offer increased online and teleservices in an attempt to avoid disruptions as SNB prepares for a possible second wave of the virus.

Customer care agents continued working throughout the pandemic, responding to more than 30,000 calls to the COVID-19 information line, along with processing the services available online and through Teleservices.

In response to the ongoing State of Emergency, the provincial government is providing an extension for eligible licenses and other documentation. All licenses, registrations, certificates and permits issued by the Province of New Brunswick valid as of March 16, 2020 shall remain valid until July 31, 2020 unless suspended by a court or by other authority under an Act of the Province.
