Charlotte County – Hard to believe, but in a mere few weeks jolly ole Saint Nick will be climbing down our chimneys…maintaining six-feet distance, naturally.

And with Christmas approaching, here at the Courier we’ve realized due to the changes in so many of the events we normally attend, we won’t be able to create our Christmas edition with all the photos of the season as we normally do.

But, in the spirit of things being different it’s fitting this year’s Christmas edition should be to, and that’s why we’re reaching out to you to help us out.

Do you have a favourite recipe you only break out for the Christmas season? Are your gingerbread cookies out. of. this. world? Share that bad boy with us!

Do you have a photo of you, a friend, or family member receiving the most amazing gift on Christmas morning – the one that was beyond believing?

Do you have a photo of the best worst Christmas sweater even seen by the human eye?

How about your pet decked out for the holidays or their photo with Santa? Or did you catch an epic Christmas fail on film – you know, the turkey being carried out the door ‘A Christmas Story’ style by the Bumpuses’ hounds, or the mashed potatoes on the floor? We’d love to see those too.

Basically, if you have an awesome Christmas memory, are developing a new tradition for these COVID times, a photo, recipe, or story you’d like to share, we would like to have it.

Send your submissions to editor@stcroixcourier.ca by Friday, December 4 at 5 p.m.

Remember to name everyone in the photos from left to right, and make sure to tell us what’s happening in the picture in detail.

Digital images and emails are preferred.

Then watch the pages of The Saint Croix Courier in December as we print and post your Christmas moments online.

‘Tis the season!
