The passing of James “Jim” Arthur Clark of St. George, NB occurred at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB on January 30, 2020. Born in Montreal, QC on November 2, 1953, he was a son of the late Everett and Lillian (Shaw) Clark.
A loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Jim is survived by his children Samantha Clark-Brideau and Chad Clark (Tanya Poirier), both of Fredericton, NB; one granddaughter Elena Brideau; siblings Nadine (Allen) Holmes of St. George, NB, Norma Stewart of St. Andrews, NB, Mulford (Phyllis) Clark of St. George, NB, Tom (Fiona) Clark of Chamcook, NB and Stephen Clark of St. George, NB; several nieces, nephews, cousins and his lifelong best friend, Stephen Hatt.
was a veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces. He served with the Princess
Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry and later with the Engineering Corps. Jim
served twice as a UN Peacekeeper in Cyprus. Following his retirement from the
service, he worked as Maintenance Manager for hotels in both New Brunswick and
Ontario. In 2012, Jim retired to St. George to be closer to his family and
