Individual who passed through Moncton airport tests positive for COVID-19

Moncton – The Public Health Agency of Canada issued a notification revealing an individual who passed through the Greater Moncton Romeo Leblanc International Airport on Monday, April 27 has tested positive for COVID-19.

The individual was a passenger on Westjet flight 3456 from Toronto, ON, and it is understood by the Courier the passenger is not a resident of the province, and did not remain in New Brunswick. Public health did determine the individual was not tested in New Brunswick.

Public health is asking any individual who was onboard the flight to immediately self-isolate for 14 days, and immediately call 811 if you develop any symptoms of the virus.
