MUIR, David M. – Unexpectedly at his residence on Tuesday, November 16th, 2021, David Michael Muir of Oak Bay, NB. Born in St. Stephen, NB, he is the son of Julie (Hopwood) Toth of Moore’s Mills, NB and Roderick Muir of St. Stephen, NB.
David was kind and generous, well liked by many. David never liked knowing that a person or an animal would go hungry or in need. He was a champion of the underdog, helping when he could without judgement or question. In that spirit, the family would like others to continue in his path by paying it forward with kindness to people or animals.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, Julie and Roderick, are his stepfather Pat, his daughter Camryn (Jeffrey), four sisters, Emily (Johnathan), Karen (Kami), Kim and Bethany, half-sister Sarah (Jayne) and stepsister Stephanie, girlfriend Edith, three nephews, Hunter, Carter, and Sawyer, one niece Jillian in England, his grandmother Rhona, uncles Kieth (Melissa) and Gavin (Theresa), aunts Helen (Steve) and Carol (Andy), his uncle Sandy (Donna) and many loved cousins.
Predeceased by Auntie Paula, Grandpas Alfred and Jack and Grandma Jean.
A celebration of David’s life will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Humphreys Funeral Home. During the chance to meet with the family, there will be an open mic provided for anyone who would like to share a memory of David with the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Charlotte County Group Home, now known as Neighbourhood Works Inc., Union St., St. Stephen, NB toward the newly proposed community shelter and services center, or committing an act of kindness would be greatly appreciated by the family. Online condolences to the family or donations can be made at www.humphreysfh.com
