RCMP investigating stabbing incident in St. George

St. George – The following information has been taken from a press release on the NB RCMP website.

The West District RCMP are asking the public for information to assist in identifying the person responsible for a stabbing incident in St. George.

At approximately 11 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 8, RCMP received a report that a man had been stabled in an apartment on Main Street, St. George.

The 27-year-old victim was taken to the Saint John Regional Hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect, who goes by “Brad”, a clean-shaven Caucasian man in his mid-20s, fled the scene on foot before RCMP arrived. “Brad” is described as approximately 168 centimetres (five feet six inches) tall, slender build, with a tattoo on one arm of a playing card on fire.

He was last seen wearing a camouflaged winter coat which has a hood with a fur trim, and well-worn brown shoes.
