RICHARDSON, Faye Rosamond

The family of Faye Rosamond (Barteau) Richardson sadly wishes to announce her passing at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen NB on August 17, 2017. She currently resided at Lincourt Manor and was formerly of Leonardville, Deer Island, NB. She was born in Leonardville on January 18, 1928. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Mamie (Conley) Barteau.
She will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Gordon Barteau (Barbara Clowes) and several nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
In addition to her parents and husband, Faye was predeceased by her siblings, Philip, Viola Cline and Milton.
Prior to retirement, Faye worked as a packer for HW Welch on Deer Island. She had enjoyed travelling and visited Florida, California, Mexico and many other destinations. A royal watcher, Faye was interested in the Royal Family and their history. She was an avid crossword and jigsaw puzzle enthusiast. In earlier years, she enjoyed the outdoors, cross-country skiing and walking to the lake to pick berries. Faye was an animal lover and was especially fond of her dogs, Gretchen, Skeeter and Holly. She was a member of the Leonardville Church of Christ.
The family would like to thank certain caregivers and all the kitchen staff at Lincourt Manor for their excellent care. You know who you are.
Faye is going to be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
Arrangements in the care of The St. George Funeral Home (755-3533), 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB. A private family graveside service will be held at the Mount Hope Cemetery, Richardson, NB at a later date. In Faye’s memory, donations to the Charlotte County SPCA or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
