SARAVA, Terrie Louise

SARAVA, Terrie Louise – Our family regretfully announces the passing on May 7, 2021 of our dear loved one, Terrie, at her residence in Surrey, BC.

She was born in St. Stephen, NB on December 2, 1950, grew up in McAdam where she graduated from McAdam Composite High School, and then began her career in banking in Fredericton, NB.

When the love of travel to see her country first-hand took her and her friends to the province of British Columbia, she had found her second home. She continued in banking and was employed for seventeen years in that field before applying her skills in other areas over the years.

Soon she met her one true love, Ron, and they married shortly thereafter on April 3, 1976. With Ron she made her home for many years in Burnaby, BC and later they moved to Surrey. Their lives were very full with travel and they visited many countries, exploring what each had to offer. They were blessed with many loyal friends who shared their interests; going on cruises, indeed enjoying the good things life has to offer.

Over five years ago Terrie began fervently a battle for her health, which she faced stoically, with diligence, researching and putting her all into a very courageous effort to defeating the disease.

Predeceased by her parents, John and Ruth Lee, and her brother, Kenneth, she leaves behind to mourn one sister, Carole, a special aunt, Betty, ten nieces and nephews, several cousins, and Ron, her husband, who was at her side caring for her so lovingly through it all.

Arrangements have been made for cremation, followed by an intimate service with their closest friends.
