Search on for missing St. George man

ST. GEORGE – A St. George man was reported missing on Sunday, Jan 16 says an RCMP press release. 

Fifty-eight-year-old John Norman Jr. was last seen at his home on Brunswick St. in St. George around 4 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 15. It’s believed he left home on foot.

While several leads have been followed-up, Norman has not been located.

Norman is five feet six inches (168 centimetres) tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds.  He has brown hair and hazel eyes, and was last seen clean shaven. He left home wearing a black jacket with white stripes down both sleeves, jeans and brown winter hiking boots with a reflective patch on the back of the boots.

Charlotte County Ground Search and Rescue along with RCMP have begun an extensive search of the area. 

The Courier reached out to the St. George RCMP for further details but has not received a response.
